Masego is building Hella Wards. He's seen an entity fragment itself in self-defense before and he's spent a fair bit of time with Martin, so he's got a good idea of what to expect and how to tailor and deploy them in harmony with Subaru's maboroshi. This should help force the fragments to actually engage Team Stab.
