Like - Pepa's weather is getting harder for her to control. It was always kinda a lot for her, but it's getting worse? And- and Isabela's flowers are overgrowing everything if she doesn't focus. It's too much, hard to move around sometimes. I know Luisa's always been really strong but sometimes it's- I-i dunno, it doesn't look right. And Abuela....
[He trails off, arms hugging himself and shivers thinking about it.]
She has this look in her eye sometimes. It... It's bad. There's other stuff, but Abuela's smile isn't... I-i dunno.
[He shakes his head, closes his eyes but he still knows exactly where Martin's standing as he moves around to set that little terrified rat on the barrel.]
It's all started to go wrong, an-and I know it's not Casita's fault.
[For a long moment he doesn't respond. He thinks back to that one vision tablet, a giant eye looming over Casita. The spiders and thread tendrils around the edges. He instinctively moves to rub at his arm, like there's something there.]
[ Martin holds his breath. Then ... carefully moves to the front of him, looking down at the green light still probably visible through Bruno's eyelids. ]
I'm going to another room. Come find me in about two minutes.
[ And with utter silence, he slips off to one of the spare storage rooms. ]
[He opens his eyes one second too late to see what direction he went. Bruno's left alone, looking around the room nervous like Martin just vanished, or hadn't been there at all.]
Ahhhh ay... Donde...
[All right. He'll wait a minute and breathe. Try to listen, try to distract himself.]
[No, there isn't any sign of what Martin did. He isn't sure if it's two minutes or not, but he starts to move quietly, listening as he walks through the walls.
It isn't Knowing, it's not quite as strong as that. But he gets a hunch. A thought maybe this way that has him turning corners, looking closer.]
Martin, this is - A really really bad idea. [Is what he manages in a shout-whisper.]
[ Martin stays absolutely silent in the little storage closet area, hardly even breathing. If Bruno doesn't find him, that's good. It'll be some kind of proof.
He hears Bruno moving and just closes his own eyes for a moment. Waiting. ]

Once back in side he just. Leans agains the wall, trembling a little. ]
Absolutely nothing.

[Stating more of a fact before he rubs at his eye again, leading them out.]

[ He follows again. Watching that green glow persist. ]

There's been other weird stuff, no eye in the sky though, just other weird stuff.

God. What does he do? CAN he do anything? He's lost all of his connections in Sideral, even that tiny link to the Eye himself. ]
I know it isn't either. This is... something else. I think my eldritch gods are somehow starting to emerge here.

How do we know for sure?
no subject
[ He hunches his shoulders a bit. Eyes Bruno. ]
... I can. I can probably test it, though. In smaller ways.

[Just petting a rat and looking up to him, eyes bright and scared and unsure.]

[ God, he's so sorry, Bruno. ]
Close your eyes?
no subject
[He looks down at rat-friend, shrugging and gesturing to Martin. Then exhales heavily looking back to him and nods.
Stands perfectly still closing his eyes.]

There is absolutely no sound, nor any other indication of where he's gone. Does Bruno Know anyway? ]

Only little pricks in the back of his mind to turn, face that corner. He stopped there and then -]
There's probably spiders in there, come on.
no subject
Also Martin doesn't want to sit here forever. He sighs a bit before creaking open the door. ]
I like spiders, actually.

I'm glad you do. Not fun waking up to them on me.

... You knew were I was, didn't you?
