[Yeah, he can't do anything about the stairs except keep going. Just taking slow deep breaths as they climb. He just pets along the spine of the one rat that came with him on his shoulder.]

...I think Isabela did. Hard to tell with her, but - y'know, it was just about her powers growing over time. All the other nice ones, people just kind of forgot, I guess? Only remember the bad ones where things go wrong that they don't like.

[Trying to be chipper, just bounding up a few steps before settling back into a normal walk.]

Y-yeah, I dunno why Casita made my room like this, but. It, it did cut down on a lot of people just asking me for visions all the time. They had to really want it, had to be important. Didn't mind that so much.

... Oh. Oh, that. Casita is looking out for you then.

[ Especially since his actual room is clearly and readily accessible... ]

I-i guess, probably. Casita's always been doing stuff like that for us, keeping us safe and all.

[He does give a little soft pat to the rock wall as they get to the top landing.]

Last stretch. [He grabs for the rope and smiles nervously before going for it.]

[ UH. Does this landing have a chasm in it still, ]

[It does a little, but it's fine don't worry about it. It hasn't degraded too far.

Bruno lands and swings the rope back.]

Used to be a bridge, but it fell years ago.

[ Don't mind Martin then, he's just going to stand on the opposite side of the chasm for a moment and try not to freak out. ]

S-sure! Why not. Just swing over a bloody chasm.

[Bruno has both arms out and ready to catch him, helping ease him to the other side.]

[ Martin's still trembling, clinging to Bruno just a little. ]

[Oh, Martin is big and warm. Okay. ok ok ok ok ok that's fine. He pats martin's arm gently once or twice before leading him down the hallway, the big round door ahead looming.

Then it's his turn to cling a little, trembling.]

[ He sure is. AND soft. He lets go quickly enough once he's settled, only to find himself abruptly holding the smaller man again. ]

R-right. It's - it's going to be okay, all right? I'm n-not going to blame you even if we see something terrible.

[He's starting to shrink into himself a bit as they get to the door. Nods and swallows hard as they stand before it.]

Y-yeah. Sure, yeah.

[It's fine, it's his Gift, it's always been safe. It's just... been nine years. And he doesn't know what happened to his last Vision.

Inside is dark, with the sand center area with spots of green underneath.]

This, uh. This is it.

[ Martin ducks his head to enter, then, and stares around at this ... chamber? ]

Oh ... this is where you have then, then? How does it work?

[He nods, letting go of Martin and moving to the middle of the sand pit.]

Yeah. It's- Kind of a lot, I dunno if you wanna hang back out of the way or come in close.
