[Once that's all handed out and there's nothing else for him to do, Bruno looks around. Looks at Martin. Nods, then curls up with his back to the room to sleep.]

[ Martin spreads his blankets and pillows out on the floor then. It's pretty uncomfortable, honestly, but it will work.

And he's exhausted, so it won't take long to drop off. ]

[Once the house settles down for the night, it's all the usual sounds of a house settling. Floor boards creaking occasionally, some of the rats scurrying.

The loudest noise so far is when the blankets start shifting on Bruno's side of the room. Tossing and turning a bit, some faint whispers of pleading.]

[ Martin shifts at that, of course. It's a strange house, and the floor is hard, and he's not next to Jon? That in and of itself is enough to make him jolt awake.

He blinks blearily, listening for a moment. ]

[Some smaller things in the room start to levitate up, faint hints of green in the cracks of the walls. The shadows darkening elsewhere all around.

The rats that are present start scurrying to where Bruno's curled in to himself tight.]

No no, no no nonono

Now Martin is DEFINITELY awake. He scurries a bit himself, scrambling to get to Bruno's side. ]

Bruno? Bruno, I'm here, it's okay --

[He's stiff all around, but one hand lashes out to cling to Martin's arm. His eyes snap open the glowing green already fading. The bits and baubles falling to the floor as he tries to breathe in deep.]

[ OKAY THAT'S CREEPY BUT -

Martin clings in turn, trying to get his arms around Bruno. ]

I-it's okay. You're dreaming. It's all right.

I saw that whole- [He tries to gesture widely but can't in a small space being held like this.] wh-whole eye thing, coming down on us. The house was falling apart. Camilo's face was all twisted and gnarled, and Dolores was just... Covered in eyes. Pepa was- [Gulp. As he starts closing in on himself again.] There were spiders everywhere.

[ Martin stiffens at that, his own eyes going wide. No. Nono, he'd hoped that maybe this place was different - Casita had seemed so kind after all, but -

When I first had that Vision, when I was nine. I- I used to have that dream after.

And. And Abuela settled it by having me only have Visions when people asked, not. Not just randomly. After a while it stopped.

I-i-i dunno what caused it. Maybe you, maybe remembering the vision, who knows.
