I - god. Yes. I mean I assume that’s magic I can’t replicate, but good lord I want that recipe.

Paella? That's easy, but she's just really great anyway.

[He takes his spoon and nabs a bite.]

I mean I can get you a recipe though.

[ He continues to eat contentedly. ]

Um. A few, yeah. Mostly stuff I grabbed when no one was looking.

[He gestures to the small stack on a barrel in front of the arm chair.]

[There aren't many, mostly just some old story books Abuela had carried with her.]

But you know, it's great, I mean I get to listen to them, hear all the gossip. I-I'm not sure Isabel really wants to marry that guy Mariano.

Who’s Isabel? And … who’s Mariano?

Isabel is the oldest of my other sister - sister who made all the food.

Mariano's just - He's a good guy, he's just from the village.
