[He takes a deep breath, looking at the stack of panes he recollected. Swallows hard and nods once.]

All right. [Then up to his feet to lead the way back out. And to those stairs with the rock statue of a hand pointing up.]

[ Martin sure is considering it. Good lord. He winces just thinking about how miserable he’ll be at the top. ]

No. No I. I think this is important. Even if I hate your room.

[He takes a slow, deep breath and starts the climb.]
Okay.... Though, really, I understand if you change your mind, that's fine and I won't judge at all. Like, it's my room and I hate these stairs, haha.

[ And he is REALLY SORRY ABOUT ALL THESE BLOODY STAIRS. ]

[Yeah, he can't do anything about the stairs except keep going. Just taking slow deep breaths as they climb. He just pets along the spine of the one rat that came with him on his shoulder.]

...I think Isabela did. Hard to tell with her, but - y'know, it was just about her powers growing over time. All the other nice ones, people just kind of forgot, I guess? Only remember the bad ones where things go wrong that they don't like.

Y-yeah, I dunno why Casita made my room like this, but. It, it did cut down on a lot of people just asking me for visions all the time. They had to really want it, had to be important. Didn't mind that so much.

I-i guess, probably. Casita's always been doing stuff like that for us, keeping us safe and all.
